- Call Requirement: Minimum 7 days of call per month
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered RN license (Pennsylvania preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of recent CVOR nursing experience
- Current BLS certification
- Proficient in cardiovascular surgical procedures and sterile technique
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to participate in scheduled on-call rotation
CVOR Nurse Responsibilities
- Assist with all phases of cardiovascular operating room procedures: pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care
- Maintain strict sterile environment and follow infection control protocols
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists for optimal patient outcomes
- Monitor patient status and respond to intraoperative changes
- Accurately document patient care activities in the EMR
- Participate in the on-call rotation as required
