RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work in a 37-bed Level 2 Trauma emergency department
• Maintain 1:4 patient ratio in zone
• Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 7 RNs, 2 techs/paramedics, 5 mid-shift RNs, and 2 mid-shift techs
• Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 7 RNs, 2 techs/paramedics, 5 mid-shift RNs, and 2 mid-shift techs
• Work with GE monitors and MediTech EMR system
• Required to work 4 weekend shifts in 4 weeks with no on-call responsibilities
• Care for ED patients admitted to hospital holding in emergency department
• Must demonstrate high caliber patient experience skills
• Ideal candidate should be high energy, self-motivated, and amicable
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC
• Dress code requires royal blue scrub top and bottom
• Handle typical emergency department procedures and patient care

Facility:

This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive emergency department with 37 beds and Level 2 Trauma designation. The facility maintains a robust staffing model with 73 full-time equivalent employees and utilizes modern equipment including GE monitors and MediTech electronic medical records. The emergency department is located on the first floor of the main building and focuses on providing high-quality emergency care with emphasis on excellent patient experience.
