Travel Nursing Job Details

- Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 12/15/2025 – End: 3/15/2026)
- Shift: 8-hour days, Monday – Friday (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
- Hours per Week: 40
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1750-$1870
- Call: Required (No exceptions)
- Open-heart experience: Required
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey
- Current BLS (AHA) certification
- Current ACLS (AHA) certification (within 30 days of hire)
- Current PALS (AHA) certification (within 30 days of hire)
- Minimum 1 year of perioperative (OR) nursing experience or on-the-job training
- Open-heart surgical experience required
- Pre/Post Op experience
- Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
OR RN Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect patient care in the perioperative setting for neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and older adults
- Coordinate patient care with surgeons and anesthesiologists in the operating room
- Supervise and guide OR Technicians and other healthcare personnel, maintaining professional nursing standards
- Ensure efficient patient flow, unit maintenance, and organization in surgical services
- Comply with hospital and unit policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
- Participate in performance improvement activities, unit meetings, and in-service training
- Serve as a resource for other nursing and clinical staff
- Fulfill required call shifts as scheduled
