Travel Nursing Job Details
- Location: Middlebury, VT 05753 (Vermont healthcare jobs)
- Assignment Length: 16 weeks, with potential extension up to 32 weeks
- Start Date: January 5, 2026
- End Date: April 27, 2026
- Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts weekly (19:00 – 07:00)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Employment Type: Travel RN contract
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (pending licenses considered)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
- Prior travel nursing experience required (no first-time travelers)
- Charge RN experience required
- Proficiency with insulin drips and cardiac drips
- EPIC EMR charting experience within the past 2 years
- Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS (NIHSS must be completed prior to start)
- Progressive care nursing experience preferred
- COVID-19 vaccine required (no exemptions)
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- Reliable personal or rental vehicle required (no public transportation available)
Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients
- Serve as Charge RN, providing clinical leadership and support to the healthcare unit
- Administer and monitor insulin and cardiac drips
- Utilize EPIC electronic medical records for documentation and patient care coordination
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Work every other weekend and adjust schedule as needed to meet unit and patient care needs
- Maintain compliance with all hospital policies and procedures
- Participate in bi-weekly orientation sessions
