Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts: 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM or 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• Every other weekend requirement
• Patient ratios: Maximum 1:6, with day shifts Monday-Friday at 1:5
• 23-bed medical surgical unit
• First to float to PCU for medical surgical assignments unless telemetry trained
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Holiday requirements: Cannot request more than 1 holiday off during contract (typically applies May-September and November-January)
• Possibility of 2 additional required overtime shifts per 6 weeks
• Charting system: EPIC
• Trauma Level 3 facility
• Acute care setting
• BSN not required
• License verification required for submission

The facility operates as a Level 3 trauma center and features modern medical technology including EPIC charting systems. The organization maintains quality patient care standards with appropriate nurse-to-patient ratios and offers various medical specialties to meet diverse healthcare needs in the region.

The city offers rich cultural attractions including the Great Platte River Roadway Arch, multiple museums, and annual events like Art in the Park, while providing convenient access to major metropolitan areas including Denver, Omaha, and Kansas City.
