Role Overview
This is a senior, hands-on commercial leadership role responsible for building and scaling the European market for biologics, cell therapy, and gene therapy CDMO services. The position operates as a sole regional contributor, with full ownership of market entry, pipeline generation, strategic partnerships, and revenue delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the European go-to-market strategy.
- Generate, manage, and close new CDMO development and GMP manufacturing opportunities.
- Build and maintain a high-quality commercial pipeline across preclinical, clinical, and commercial stages.
- Establish strategic partnerships with biotech, pharma, and ATMP developers.
- Lead commercial negotiations and contract discussions.
- Act as the senior European point of contact for clients and partners.
- Work closely with technical, manufacturing, and QA teams to align commercial strategy with operational delivery.
- Represent the company at key industry events and within the European biotech ecosystem.
- Support future European team build as the business scales.
Required Experience
- 5+ years’ experience in Business Development or Commercial Leadership within: Biologics CDMO
- Proven success operating as a solo regional contributor with full revenue ownership.
- Strong understanding of GMP manufacturing, tech transfer, and CMC strategy.
- Established network within the European biotech and pharma landscape.
- Track record of closing long-cycle, high-value enterprise deals.
