Employment Solicitor – Birmingham

A leading, top-tier employment practice in Birmingham is seeking to add an experienced Employment Solicitor to its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with circa 3+ years’ PQE to join a highly regarded practice working with major education institutions and a diverse commercial client base.

The Role:

You will be advising on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, including:

Employment Tribunal claims and case management
Advisory work for higher education institutions and commercial employers
Employee relations, HR support, and day-to-day operational advice
Redundancy, restructuring, and change management projects
Drafting and reviewing contracts, policies, and settlement agreements
Delivering training, seminars, and legal updates to clients
Supporting business development initiatives across key sectors

About You:

Circa 3+ years’ PQE in employment law
Strong experience gained from a reputable employment practice
Confident handling both advisory and Tribunal matters with appropriate supervision
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Able to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders
Team-focused, commercially aware, and proactive
Experience supervising or delegating to junior team members is an advantage
