About the Position

We are seeking a Hospitalist for a locum tenens assignment in Texas beginning Dec 22, 2025. This 35-day opportunity features 24-hour shifts (7a-7a) and requires board certification in hospital medicine. The schedule includes several consecutive week-long blocks through Mar 29, 2026, supporting inpatient care without pediatric responsibilities.

Responsibilities and Duties- Provide inpatient care with ICU support not required
- Manage acute and chronic cases, including non-invasive and invasive ventilation
- Interpret EKGs and conduct cardiac stress tests
- Collaborate with anesthesia, general surgery, lab, orthopedic surgery, and radiology teams
- Ensure high-quality care for adult patients; pediatric care is not required
Additional Information- Active Texas medical license required
- Board certification in hospital medicine required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
- Fellowship training preferred
