Augusta, GA Emergency Medicine Physician Locum Tenens Opportunity

Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physicians for an outstanding ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Augusta, Georgia.

Opportunity Snapshot

Location: Augusta, GA
Contract Type: Locum Tenens – Emergency Medicine (MD/DO)
Duration: Ongoing, strong potential for extension
Schedule:
- 6 Physician shifts per day
- 5 APP shifts per day
- 20 shifts per month coverage needed (flexible scheduling available)
Shift Times (MD):
- 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM
- 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- 6:00 PM – 2:00 AM
- 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Shift Times (APP):
- 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- 5:00 PM – 3:00 AM
- 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Patient Volume: ~54,000 annual visits
Patients per Hour: ~1.6
ED Beds: 30, plus PIT area and sub-waiting area
Admitting Orders: Not required
Trauma Level: Level II Trauma Center
EMR: Meditech

Provider Requirements

Active Georgia Medical License
Board Certified – ABEM only
Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Medicine experience post-residency
Current ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications
