Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Minimum 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required
- Active Ohio Registered Nurse license or Compact State RN license
- Current American Heart Association BLS & ACLS certifications
- One supervisory reference in Med/Surg Telemetry (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director)
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- Completion of onsite badging and fingerprinting prior to start
- Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
RN Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit
- Monitor, interpret, and respond to cardiac telemetry and patient condition changes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
- Participate in orientation and required annual clinical modules
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and nursing standards
