Home Health RN Job Details
- Position Type: Travel Registered Nurse – Home Health
- Location: Romney, West Virginia (WV) – 26757
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: January 12, 2026 – End: April 13, 2026)
- Weekly Hours: 40 hours (Guaranteed 36 hours/week)
- Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday (8 Hour Days)
- Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd Weekend
- On-Call Requirement: None
- Patient Ratio: Approximately 25 adult/geriatric patients per week
- EMR: EPIC electronic medical records
- Dress Code: Black scrubs
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of home health nursing experience as a Registered Nurse
- Active RN license in West Virginia or Compact State
- BLS certification (AHA required)
- Valid Driver’s License
- Experience with adult and geriatric patient care preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Home Health RN Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in their homes
- Perform patient assessments and create individualized care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team (PT, OT, SLP, HH tech, SW) for comprehensive patient support
- Document patient care and progress using EPIC EMR system
- Educate patients and families on health management and homecare procedures
- Participate in weekend rotation (every 3rd weekend)
