RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work in 101-bed emergency department with patient ratios of 4:1 typically for medical patients, up to 7:1 for ED behavioral holds
• Every other weekend scheduling requirement; must meet department needs and cannot commit to block scheduling
• Float within all sections of the emergency department (no floating outside ED)
• Work with Baxter pumps, GE monitors, and Cerner documentation system
• Support provided by techs in cardiac monitoring unit, internal processing area, and triage; unit clerks available days and nights
• Follow AIDET protocols, maintain respectful behavior, provide excellent patient experience, and keep boards updated throughout patient visits
• Required certifications before start date: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS; ENPC within 90 days of hire
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience with at least 1 year in emergency room setting required
• Must have teamwork mentality, ability to coach and give real-time feedback, and flexibility to work in all ED areas
• Level 2 trauma center and comprehensive stroke center experience preferred in high volume environment (>100,000 visits)
• Previous HCA experience preferred
• Navy scrubs required uniform
• Attendance policy provided on day one
