Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
- Ability to float to other units as needed
- Travel nurses must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
PCU Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in the Progressive Care Unit
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions using the MEDHOST EMR system
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans
- Offer compassionate support to patients and families throughout their hospital stay
- Float to other nursing units as required
