- Employment Type: Travel Nurse, On-Site
- Shift: Day Shift (3x12 hour shifts/week, 36 hours/week)
- Start Date: January 5, 2026 (ASAP start available)
- Openings: 2 Med/Surg RN positions
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Ohio or compact state
- BLS Certification (required before first shift)
- ACLS Certification (required before first shift)
- Minimum 1 year recent Med/Surg bedside clinical experience (2 years preferred)
- Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
Med/Surg RN Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans for medical-surgical patients
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care following clinical protocols and hospital safety standards
- Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and orientees
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic health record
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals during team conferences
- Provide patient and family education, including discharge planning from admission
- Maintain a safe environment for patients and staff, adhering to all hospital safety policies
- Support a positive healthcare team environment and participate in unit-based activities and professional development
