Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide emergency medical care in an emergency department
- Manage a high-volume ED
- Deliver care across diverse patient groups: 22% pediatric, 5% OBGYN, 9% trauma, 12% geriatric
- Work within a facility featuring isolation beds, trauma bays, GYN rooms, and a pediatric room
- Utilize Meditech and Dragon EMR systems
- Collaborate with advanced practitioners between the main ED and fast track
- Ensure compliance with all clinical protocols and documentation standards
Additional Information
- Must hold a valid Missouri medical license, Emergency Medicine board certification, and DEA registration
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) required
- Experience with high-acuity emergency care preferred
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is required
