We are seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist for a 45-day locum tenens assignment in California, starting Feb 16, 2026. This opportunity offers a 24-hour, 7 days a week schedule and is ideal for physicians with a background in Pediatric Hospital Medicine who are board certified or truly board eligible and hold an active CA license. Candidates must also have BLS, DEA, and either NRP or PALS certifications.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide comprehensive inpatient care for pediatric patients
- Manage admissions, rounds, and discharges for pediatric cases
- Respond to emergencies and acute changes in patient status
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document all care and procedures in accordance with regulatory standards
- Maintain strict adherence to protocols regarding patient safety and quality of care
Additional Information
- Board certified or truly board eligible in Pediatric Hospital Medicine highly preferred
- California medical license required
- BLS, DEA, and either NRP or PALS certification required
- Clean malpractice history required (no pending cases, no previous settlements or judgments; cases over 10 years old can be reviewed)
- Must be available at time of name clear
