Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide emergency medicine care for patients in a fast-paced emergency department
- Assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic conditions
- Perform procedures and interventions as appropriate to the emergency setting
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to ensure optimal patient care
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
- Adhere to all departmental and facility protocols
Additional Information
- Active Virginia license required
- Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Shift preference includes days, nights, and weekends; candidates must be available for all shift types
