Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform low and moderate risk procedures such as laceration repair, IV access and insertion (peripheral line), and fracture or dislocation reductions with minimal to moderate displacement
- Manage high risk procedures including G-tube placement, endotracheal intubation, cardioversion or defibrillation, LMA, paracentesis, chest tube placement, and central and arterial line placement
- Deliver critical care services in accordance with established protocols and guidelines
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient care
Additional Information
- Must hold a current California license
- Must be on active staff at a TJC accredited facility with unrestricted privileges (not limited to locum privileges)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certifications required
