Responsibilities and Duties
- Administer anesthesia for general surgical procedures across adult and pediatric patients
- Handle anesthetic procedures for specialties including ENT, orthopedics, and podiatry
- Manage both general and IV sedation for plastic and general surgery
- Monitor patient responses to anesthesia and surgery
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients before, during, and after surgery
- Maintain accurate medical records using the EMR system Cerner
Additional Information
- Board Certification in Anesthesiology required
- Active Michigan license is mandatory
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certification through AHA required
- Must have a clean background
