ICU Registered Nurse Job Details

ICU Nurse Qualifications
- Active RN license (New York State or compact license)
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience, including trauma, surgical, and neuro ICU patients
- Proficiency with Epic EMR system
- Competency test completion within 24 hours of submission (sent via email)
- Ability to wear navy blue scrubs per hospital dress code
- Flexibility to float to other hospital units as needed
ICU Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and advanced life support interventions
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic EMR
- Comply with all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols
