Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of recent Emergency Department nursing experience required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Previous travel nursing experience (at least one completed contract assignment)
- High-volume, fast-paced ED experience preferred
- Active New Jersey RN License or Compact Nursing License
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications (must be valid at time of submission)
- Ability to complete full orientation as scheduled
- Maximum of 3 days requested time off (RTO) accepted
- No block scheduling or special requests
ER RN Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in the Emergency Department
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patient needs in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform life-saving interventions
- Accurately document patient care and clinical procedures
- Participate in unit-based orientation and required healthcare training modules
- Attend all scheduled orientation classes and complete HealthStream modules on time
- Obtain ID badge in person during orientation (photo submissions not permitted)
