Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12.5-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Medical-Surgical Stroke Stepdown unit specializing in stroke patients
• Block scheduling available but not guaranteed
• Floating to other units required
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Care for patients with common diagnoses including stroke, altered mental status, renal issues, dialysis, COPD, CHF, isolation cases, general medical-surgical conditions, pneumonia, and pulmonary issues
• Work with specialty equipment including IV pumps, nasogastric tubes, and feeding tubes
• Provide care for adult patient population
• Work on a 64-bed unit
• 2+ years of Medical-Surgical Stroke Stepdown experience required
• Travel experience required
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, NIHSS
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Active New York nursing license required
