RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work in a 101-bed Emergency Department with patient ratios of 4:1 typically for medical patients, up to 7:1 for ED behavioral holds
• Every other weekend scheduling requirement with flexible scheduling to meet department needs
• No floating outside of ED but must be open to floating to all sections within the Emergency Department
• 2 years experience as a nurse with at least 1 year experience in ER setting required
• Previous Level 2 trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, and high volume (>100,000 visits) ED experience preferred
• Previous HCA experience preferred
• Must demonstrate teamwork mentality and ability to coach and give feedback in real time
• Flexibility to work in all areas of the ED required
• Required certifications before starting: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS
• ENPC certification required within 90 days of hire
• Work with Baxter pumps, GE monitors, and Cerner documentation system
• Navy scrubs required uniform
• Follow AIDET protocols, respectful behavior standards, and patient experience requirements
• Update patient boards with information and keep patients updated throughout their visit
• Support available from techs in cardiac monitoring, internal processing, triage, and unit clerks
