Summary:
We’re looking for a dedicated Physician to join our team, providing care across multiple senior living communities and serving as a trusted partner to facility staff, residents, and families. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Round on and manage clinical care for older adults in partner facilities including skilled nursing, long-term care, assisted living, independent living, and memory care.
Provide on-site medical coverage across multiple facilities (4 days per week).
Serve as interim Medical Director, collaborating with administrators, nursing directors, and staff.
Partner with multi-disciplinary care teams to improve quality of care and patient outcomes.
Ensure accurate and timely documentation and billing per Curana policy.
Respond to facility calls during business hours when not physically present.
Support smooth transitions as permanent Curana providers are placed.
Represent Curana Health as a trusted physician leader and role model.

Qualifications:
MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school
Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Unrestricted licensure in North Carolina (with ability to obtain additional state licenses within 90 days)
Easy access to a major airport for frequent travel
Compassionate, intelligent, and motivated team player with a passion for geriatric care
This role requires travel to and from one or more assigned facilities using a personal vehicle. A valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and an acceptable driving record are required. Periodic motor vehicle (MVR) checks may be conducted as a condition of, and/or for, continued employment.
