Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey or compact state
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry nursing
- BLS certification required
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment
Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, ECGs, and vital signs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, procedures, and post-discharge care
- Accurately document all patient care activities in the electronic health record (EHR)
