- Shift: 12 Hour Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or compact state license
- Minimum 1 year recent experience in Cardiac Stepdown, Telemetry, or acute care nursing
- BLS certification (required)
- ACLS certification (preferred)
- Ability to complete all onboarding healthcare requirements (immunizations, background checks, competency exams)
- Strong clinical, communication, and critical thinking skills
Cardiac Stepdown Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality cardiac nursing care to patients in the Stepdown unit
- Monitor cardiac rhythms, administer medications, and manage IV therapies
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and the healthcare team to develop individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions, recovery, and discharge instructions
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and compliant clinical environment
