TheraEX Staffing Services is seeking a travel nurse RN Pediatrics for a travel nursing job in Devils Lake, North Dakota.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct and indirect patient care to pediatric through geriatric populations with a variety of diagnoses including respiratory illnesses, infectious diseases, GI disorders, alcohol withdrawal, AKI, DKA, and swing-bed rehab.
Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting findings and updating care plans appropriately.
Manage and titrate IV drips including insulin, heparin, lasix, cardizem, and electrolyte replacements.
Administer medications, treatments, and blood products per physician orders and facility protocol.
Perform and interpret telemetry monitoring as required (no monitor techs).
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Utilize ventilators, BiPap, heated high-flow systems, glidescopes, and bubble CPAP safely and effectively.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
Maintain accurate electronic documentation within Meditech charting system.
Support other departments as needed within scope of practice.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in MedSurg, Telemetry, and Pediatrics required.
Broad clinical skillset including IV management, telemetry interpretation, and pediatric care.
Strong critical thinking, time management, and communication skills.
Prior travel experience preferred, but not required.

Licenses and Certifications:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Dakota (or Compact License – current and unrestricted).
BLS (Basic Life Support) – required.
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – required.
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – required.
