Description

Responsible for providing assistance to the GI physicians in diagnostic and interventional procedures in the GI lab by providing safe and efficient patient care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to achieve quality patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited program for medical assistants, nursing assistants or surgical technicians or equivalent combination of coursework, experience or training.
Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
3 years of GI / Endo experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Upon hire: Society of Gastroenterology Nurses Association (SGNA) Certification
5 years of Health care experience in a GI lab.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
