Travel Nurse Job Details

- Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (06:30 – 17:00)
- Hours per Week: 40
- On-Call: Evenings & weekends required
- Healthcare Setting: Short Term Acute Care, Teaching Hospital
- Charting System: EPIC
- Scrub Color: Ceil Blue
- Parking: Free in any unrestricted space
Cath Lab RN Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (pending license accepted)
- Minimum 18 months of recent Cath Lab RN experience (2 years preferred)
- Current AHA or American Red Cross ACLS and BLS certifications
- Proven experience with interventional and diagnostic cardiac catheterizations, procedural sedation, and dysrhythmia interpretation/management
- Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs
- Nicotine-free (negative cotinine test required)
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
- All requested time off must be submitted at time of application
- Successful completion of EKG and Pharmacology tests during orientation (2 attempts maximum)
Cath Lab Nurse Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiology procedures
- Monitor and manage procedural sedation and patient vital signs
- Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias during procedures
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Float to other nursing units within scope as needed
- Participate in on-call rotation for evenings and weekends
- Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records
- Maintain a safe, smoke-free, and patient-centered environment
