Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license – Medical/Surgical specialty
- Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience required
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a hospital setting
- Completion of required onboarding health screenings (MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap, Influenza, TB/PPD, Fit Test, Physical/Health Statement)
- Successful background check and employment verification
- Skills checklist and competency exam completion
- Valid Driver's License or State ID
Med/Surg RN Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Medical/Surgical unit
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
