Travel Nurse Job Details

- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (December 22, 2025 – March 22, 2026)
- Shift: 12-Hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,880 (based on $80/hr x 36 hrs)
- Nurse/Patient Ratio: 1:5/1:6
- Floating Requirement: May float to inpatient areas at UH Lake West Medical Center and UH Tripoint Medical Center
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Ohio RN license (required for Ohio nursing jobs)
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Cardiac Stepdown, Telemetry, or acute care nursing
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and float to various inpatient units
- Completion of onboarding health screenings and background checks (MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap, TB/PPD, Influenza, Fit Test, physical/health statement)
- Submission of professional documentation (driver's license/state ID, education and employment verification, skills checklist, competency exam, background checks)
- Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
Travel Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide safe, efficient, and age-appropriate nursing care to cardiac stepdown patients
- Utilize the nursing process to help patients achieve optimal health outcomes
- Demonstrate technical proficiency and clinical expertise in cardiac stepdown and acute care settings
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for coordinated patient care
- Exhibit leadership and contribute to professional nursing practice advancement
- Float to designated inpatient units as needed to support patient care delivery
- Perform all Registered Nurse duties as assigned
