Requirements:

Active RN license in the practicing state.
BLS and ACLS certifications required.
Experience in PCU, step-down, telemetry, or interventional care preferred.
Strong cardiac monitoring and critical-thinking skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities:

Assess, monitor, and manage patients requiring progressive or interventional care.
Interpret cardiac rhythms, respond to changes in patient condition, and initiate appropriate interventions.
Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per provider orders.
Provide pre- and post-procedure care for patients undergoing interventional procedures (e.g., cardiac, vascular).
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately.
Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
