Med/Surg Telemetry RN Job Details
- Location: Warrensville Heights, Ohio (44122) – Greater Cleveland area
- Healthcare Setting: Medical/Surgical Telemetry Unit (9 Surgical)
- Employment Type: Travel RN Contract
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 01/09/2026 – End: 04/10/2026)
- Nursing Shift: Night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts per week (19:00 – 07:30)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1910 – $1960
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Minimum 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
- Active Ohio RN license or Compact State Registered Nurse license
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS & ACLS certifications
- Ability to work at least every other holiday during contract
- Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment (2 attempts maximum)
Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; respond promptly to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
- Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical competency assessments
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Provide compassionate support and education to patients and their families
