RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - CVICU

Job Details:

• Epic experience required
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Trauma Level One experience required
• Competency test required within 24 hours of submission
• 2-3 years of staff CVICU experience required
• Provide care for immediate postoperative cardiac and vascular surgery patients requiring ICU level care
• Manage high acuity patients with advanced hemodynamic monitoring
• Must be competent with ventilators, arterial lines, spinal drains, hemodynamic monitoring
• Perform ECG interpretation and monitoring
• Manage temporary pacemakers
• Handle vasoactive and inotropic drip titrations
• Local candidates from ineligible counties are not being accepted

This healthcare facility operates as a Level One Trauma Center providing comprehensive critical care services. The cardiovascular intensive care unit specializes in caring for complex cardiac and vascular surgery patients requiring advanced monitoring and intensive nursing care. The facility maintains high standards for patient care and utilizes Epic electronic medical records system to support clinical operations and patient safety.
