Travel Nurse Job Details
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2030–$2180
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (June 10, 2024 – September 9, 2024)
- Healthcare Setting: Surgical Services – Operating Room (OR)
- Schedule: Day shifts, Thursday–Tuesday; every other weekend required
- Shift Options: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM or 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week (option for 48-hour contract)
- Location: Ithaca, NY 14850 (New York travel nursing jobs)
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room (OR) RN experience
- Current and valid BLS certification
- Ability to work scheduled day shifts and every other weekend
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
OR RN Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in the Operating Room, prioritizing patient safety and comfort
- Assist surgeons and collaborate with the perioperative healthcare team during surgical procedures
- Monitor patient status, respond to changes in condition, and provide clinical support
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation and comply with hospital protocols
- Promote a positive, efficient, and safe surgical environment
