Med/Surg Tele RN Job Details
- Location: Milton, Massachusetts (02186) – Greater Boston healthcare jobs
- Unit: Float Pool – Medical Surgical Telemetry
- Contract Length: 13 weeks (Start: 12/9/2025, End: 3/7/2026)
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts (every other weekend required)
- Hours: 36 hours per week (guaranteed 72 hours biweekly)
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2310 - $2470
- Employment Type: Travel RN contract
- Interview: No interview required for this nursing job
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts RN license required
- 2-3 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience in U.S. healthcare settings
- BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)
- Epic EMR experience required
- Must pass ECG/Telemetry and medication tests during orientation
- Proficient in ventilator management, vasoactive and sedation titration, hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac dysrhythmia recognition and management, and post-STEMI care
- CCRN certification preferred
- No local travelers (must live more than 50 miles from facility)
- No time off will be considered during the contract
Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg Telemetry Float Pool
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, responding promptly to patient condition changes
- Administer medications and manage IV drips, including vasoactive and sedative agents
- Perform ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Accurately document all patient care activities in Epic EMR
- Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical education as required
