ICU RN Job Details

- Contract Length: 13 weeks (Start: 1/12/2026 – End: 4/13/2026)
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour day shifts)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Schedule: Every other weekend required
- Dress Code: Galaxy Blue or Pewter scrubs
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,470 - $1,570 per week
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active RN license (Tennessee or compact state)
- Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience
- Current certifications: ACLS, PALS, and BLS
- Strong clinical skills in critical care and communication
- Experience with Meditech documentation system preferred
ICU Nurse Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care to critically ill adults in a 6-bed ICU (patient ratios 2:1, some 1:1 and 3:1)
- Perform advanced nursing procedures: central line placements, arterial line placements, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and intubation
- Operate advanced ICU equipment including Arctic Sun and continuous EEG monitors
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including Nurse Techs and unit secretaries
- Float to ICU overflow unit as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech EMR system
- Promote patient safety, satisfaction, and quality care standards
