Travel RN Job Details
- Location: Milton, MA 02186 (Greater Boston area)
- Position: Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse – Float Pool
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 12/9/2025 – End: 3/7/2026)
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts; every other weekend required
- Hours per Week: 36 (72 hours biweekly guaranteed)
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,310 - $2,470 per week
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing Contract
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
- Active Massachusetts RN license (required for MA nursing jobs)
- BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Must pass ECG/Telemetry and medication competency tests at orientation
- Proficient in ventilator management, vasoactive and sedation titration, hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac dysrhythmia recognition and management, and post-STEMI care
- CCRN certification preferred
- No local travelers (must reside more than 50 miles from facility)
- No time off will be considered for this contract
Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in the Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit
- Monitor, interpret, and respond to cardiac rhythms and changes in patient condition
- Administer medications and manage IV infusions, including vasoactive and sedative agents
- Perform ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Accurately document patient care in Epic EMR
- Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical training
