- Healthcare Setting: Emergency Department (ED)
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: January 4, 2026 – End: April 4, 2026)
- Nursing Shift: 12-hour nights (7:15 PM – 7:15 AM)
- Hours per Week: 36 hours (3x12hr shifts)
- Schedule: Every other weekend & rotating holidays
- Employment Type: Travel RN Contract
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1880 - $2020 per week
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts RN license
- Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
- BLS certification (AHA) – required
- ACLS certification (AHA) – required
- Ability to complete onboarding, orientation, and health screenings
- Strong clinical skills in high-acuity, fast-paced healthcare settings
ER Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in the Emergency Department
- Assess, triage, and prioritize care for patients with diverse clinical presentations
- Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions as ordered
- Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary healthcare teams, and support staff
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
- Participate in department meetings, continuing education, and quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
