GHR Healthcare is seeking a local contract nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a local contract nursing job in Plainsboro, New Jersey.

Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Busy Emergency Department with approximately 35 standard rooms and 15 additional hallway beds, plus 6 Behavioral Health ED rooms in a locked psych area, is seeking an experienced ED RN to care for a diverse, high acuity patient population across both ED and TCU beds.

Responsibilities

Provide rapid triage, assessment, and emergency care for adult and pediatric patients in all assigned ED and TCU beds
Collaborate with providers and the multidisciplinary team to support safe throughput and patient flow
Care for behavioral health patients in the locked BHED area while maintaining safety for patients and staff
Document assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in the EMR

Requirements

Active New Jersey or Compact RN license at time of submission
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS
Flu vaccination required
Weekend requirement is every other weekend or every third weekend, depending on department needs
