Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Pediatric Echo Technologist with 2+ years of pediatric cardiac sonography experience and ARDMS/RDCS PE and BLS certifications.

Responsibilities

Work in a pediatric echocardiography setting performing cardiac imaging on patients with congenital anomalies and varied cardiac needs
Average volume of 6-8 exams per day
Staffing ratio is 1:4 during weekday days and 1:1 during nights or weekends
Schedule is 5x8 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, from 08:00 to 16:30
On-call required one weekend per month (Saturday/Sunday, 07:30-07:30), with weekday on-call from 18:30 to 07:30 as scheduled
Floating within the department may be required
Uses GE and Philips ultrasound equipment
Performs echocardiograms on pediatric patients with congenital and acquired cardiac conditions
Holiday coverage is required as scheduled
Scrub color is navy blue
Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years pediatric echo tech/cardiac sonographer experience required
ARDMS or RDCS PE and BLS certifications required
Position open to first-time travelers
License required if applicable
