Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of recent medical/surgical nursing experience
- Recent Epic EMR experience (within the last year)
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Ability to float to other units as needed
- Flexible schedule required (no block scheduling accommodated)
Telemetry RN Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients with medical and surgical needs
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, responding promptly to changes in patient status
- Care for patients undergoing procedures in general surgery, urology, women’s health, gynecology, oncology, plastics, ENT, trauma, orthopedics, and spinal/neuro overflow
- Deliver specialized care for women with obstetrical issues, including intra-uterine fetal demise, preeclampsia, substance withdrawal, and diabetic pregnancies
- Thrive in a fast-paced hospital environment, managing changing patient assignments throughout your shift
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation and adhere to hospital policies and procedures
