Radiologic Technologist Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech)
- Active ARRT certification required
- Current BLS certification
- New York State Radiologic Technologist license (must be in hand before start)
- Experience with Epic charting system
- Ability to float within radiology departments
- Willingness to work rotating weekend/on-call shifts
- Strong skills in adult acute care, outpatient imaging, portable procedures, and trauma imaging preferred
Radiology Job Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray imaging for neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
- Operate radiology equipment for abdomen, chest, extremities, spine, and trauma studies
- Assist with bedside and portable radiographic procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in Epic
- Follow safety protocols and infection control standards, including isolation precautions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver excellent patient care
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond to urgent imaging requests
- Float to other radiology units as needed to support clinical operations
