RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Provide nursing care on a 26-bed medical-surgical telemetry unit
• Patient ratio of 1:5 (estimated ratios, not guaranteed)
• Work alongside charge nurse, 3 RNs, and 2 patient care technicians on night shift
• Care for patients undergoing various procedures including TURPs, gastric bypass, joint replacement, post-hysterectomy, and gallbladder/appendectomy procedures
• Use equipment including lifts, wheelchairs, gait belts, and walkers/canes
• ACLS and NIH certifications preferred
• Must have outgoing personality and be team-oriented
• Work in a supportive environment where staff members help each other throughout the shift
• Leadership rounds daily on the unit and patients to ensure smooth operations
