Opportunity:

RN - ED ER

Job Details:

• Work 12.5-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Block scheduling available but not guaranteed
• Floating to other units required
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Charge capability highly preferred
• 2+ years of Emergency Department experience required with some pediatric experience
• Travel experience required
• Required certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC (must be in hand)
• Active New York nursing license required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Care for patients with common diagnoses including stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• Work with specialty equipment including Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun
• Treat patients across all age groups: newborn, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations
• Work in 64-bed emergency department with 2 triage beds, 40 acute beds, 6 super track beds, 2 trauma beds, 10 CDU beds, and 6 psych beds

This comprehensive healthcare system operates a large-scale emergency department designed to handle high-acuity cases and complex medical situations. The facility features state-of-the-art equipment and specialized units to provide emergency care across all patient populations from newborns to geriatric patients. The emergency department maintains multiple specialized areas including trauma bays, clinical decision units, and psychiatric emergency services, demonstrating the organization's commitment to comprehensive emergency medical care.
