Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for weekend night shifts, requiring at least 1 year of experience and Epic charting proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Short-term acute care hospital setting with 536 beds and teaching environment
- Weekend night shifts, Friday through Sunday, 7:00 pm to 7:30 am (3x12 hour schedule)
- Block scheduling is required
- No floating between units within the hospital, but floating to sister facilities nearby may be expected
- Patients may include adults and geriatric populations
- Epic EMR experience required
- Scrubs may be any color; scrubs provided for OR/Cath Lab cases
- Completion of non-billable modules required prior to start and annually thereafter
- Expected to float between nearby sister facilities; refusal to float may result in contract termination
- Must be able to work 3 out of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year's Eve/Day)
- Minimal to no RTO preferred; RTO requests must be submitted up front and are limited to 6 days total or 3 consecutive days

Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as an X-Ray Technologist
- Current license required if applicable
- Experience with Epic charting system
- Must provide 2 supervisory references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years
- Must have a vehicle for travel to and from assignment
- Return staff must have a 3 month break before returning as a traveler
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility
