Med/Surg Telemetry RN Job Details
- Location: Trenton, NJ 08638 (New Jersey healthcare jobs)
- Facility Setting: Acute Care – Medical/Surgical Telemetry Unit
- Employment Type: Local, On-Site Registered Nurse position
- Contract Duration: 9-week nursing contract
- Start Date: November 18, 2025
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,829 - $2,033
- Shifts per Week: 3 (12-hour day shifts)
- Total Hours per Week: 36
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Jersey
- At least 2 years of recent experience in a Med/Surg Telemetry or acute care nursing role
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Strong clinical assessment, patient monitoring, and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient education abilities
Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate, and effective nursing care to patients on the Med/Surg Telemetry unit
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions, vital signs, and responses to treatment
- Administer medications and perform clinical interventions as ordered by physicians
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on care plans, medical procedures, and post-discharge instructions
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records in accordance with hospital policies
