Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania or compact state eligibility
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a Med/Surg Telemetry or medical surgical telemetry unit
- BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork abilities
Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
- Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary healthcare teams, and clinical support staff to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed
- Educate patients and families on care plans, health management, and post-discharge instructions
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and compliant environment for patients and healthcare staff
