Travel OBGYN RN Job Details

- Healthcare Setting: New Beginnings Birth Center – Obstetrics Unit

- End Date: April 6, 2026
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00pm – 7:00am)
- Hours per Week: 36 (Full Time)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- On-Call: Not required
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,650 - $2,720
OBGYN Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Active Colorado RN license (Registered Nurse)
- Current CPR certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Certification (NRP) and ACLS (must be obtained within one year of employment)
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in obstetrics, labor and delivery, or maternal-newborn nursing (4 years preferred)
- Strong clinical knowledge of labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care
- Ability to perform effectively in high-stress clinical situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient and family support
Key Responsibilities for OBGYN RN
- Deliver direct patient care to women in labor, during delivery, postpartum, and to newborns
- Conduct patient assessments, monitor labor progress, and assist with C-sections and inductions
- Document all aspects of clinical nursing care accurately and promptly
- Provide postpartum and infant care, including patient education and emotional support
- Prepare delivery rooms and coordinate patient transfers as needed
- Administer IV medications and maintain infection control standards
- Collaborate with the Birth Center Manager and multidisciplinary healthcare team
