- Setting: Acute Care – Operating Room (OR)
- Employment Type: Local Contract Registered Nurse
- Duration: 13-week nursing contract
- Hours per Week: 40
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, 4x10 hour shifts/week
- On Call: One weekend per month (36 hours: 24 hours Saturday, 12 hours Sunday)
- Scrubs: Provided by hospital
- Start Date: January 5, 2026
- Hourly Pay Rate: $93.93
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2520–$2650
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of recent experience as an Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN), with ability to both scrub and circulate
- Demonstrated expertise (3+ years) in Orthopedic Spine, Robotics, and Trauma surgical cases
- Active RN license in the State of New Jersey (NJ nursing license required)
- Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications
- National certification in perioperative nursing (CNOR) or related specialty preferred
- Successful completion of all required orientation modules and in-person training
OR RN Responsibilities
- Scrub and circulate in a high-volume operating room, delivering quality patient care for orthopedic spine, robotics, and trauma procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to ensure optimal surgical outcomes
- Maintain strict adherence to sterile technique, infection control, and patient safety protocols
- Participate in the on-call rotation as scheduled
- Complete all orientation, HealthStream assignments, and in-person training modules
- Obtain hospital ID badge during orientation for timekeeping and access
